Scheme for Phosphorus Content and Labelling of Detergents
The scheme provides a voluntary standard for labelling detergents which contain 5% phosphorus or less.
The following three documents are attached for download:
- The requirements for applications: This document explains the purpose, scope and compliance requirements of the Scheme.
- An agreement between the applicant company and ACCORD
- An application form for permission to use the logo: Complete this form to obtain copies of the logos suitable for reproduction, together with authorisation for their use.
The steps to participate in the Scheme and use the logos are:
- Complete the application form
- Complete Schedule 3 by transferring details of the products from the application form to the Schedule 3 form of the agreement
- Sign and witness the agreement on behalf of the applicant company
- Return the completed application form, and agreement to ACCORD.
Note: ACCORD member companies are exempt from payment of the licence fee.
On receipt of these items, ACCORD will check the application and signed agreement. A copy of the agreement, signed on behalf of ACCORD, together with copies of the logos suitable for reproduction, will be sent to the Company.
